Salvation
Salvation involves redemption of the whole person, and is offered openly and freely to everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, who by dying on the cross He obtained everlasting and eternal redemption for all who choose to believe in Him. There is no salvation apart from a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Plan Of Salvation
Understand and admit you are lost without Christ and in need of a Savior.
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way." (Isaiah 53:6)
"Jesus said, 'Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:5)
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Accept and believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son and that He gave Himself in death on the cross as pardon and forgiveness for our sin.
"But as many as received Him to them gave He power to become as sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12)
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved." (Acts 16:31)
Confess Jesus Christ before others that He is the only Lord of your life and that He has forgiven you of sin through repentance and confession.
"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him I will also deny before my Father which is in heaven." (Matt 10:32,33)
"If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved; for with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9,10)
